Agile Process is seeking a Senior Audit Quality Assurance Manager to join its dedicated audit quality review division. This division offers essential support to ensure audit teams consistently achieve superior audit outcomes.
In this senior role, you will assist audit teams in delivering exceptional audit results by conducting focused evaluations on their public interest entities, offering guidance and support to enhance identified areas for improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct 'live' evaluations of audits at all stages, from planning to completion and reporting, while identifying opportunities to enhance audit quality.
- Identify focal points for evaluations, collaborating with the Director to establish the review strategy.
- Engage proactively with audit teams on quality matters and assist in formulating strategies to ensure high-quality audits.
- Critically assess the execution of audit procedures and the documentation of audit activities.
- Mentor and support teams in implementing recognized enhancements in audit quality.
- Recognize issues that may necessitate firm-wide action, in partnership with the Director.
- Contribute to the creation of training materials and guidelines for executing high-quality audits.
- Offer clear and actionable solutions to ad hoc inquiries regarding audit quality.
Required Qualifications
Essential Skills:
- Extensive practical and technical auditing experience, particularly with complex audits.
- Strong understanding of IFRS.
- Capability and readiness to assertively challenge and influence senior colleagues and peers.
- Innovative and creative thinking to discover methods for enhancing audit quality.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in conducting audit quality evaluations (either pre or post audit opinion).
Personal Attributes:
- A strong desire to engage with a diverse client base across various sectors.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster productive relationships within the firm and influence other senior professionals.
- Highly driven and passionate about audit quality, with a commitment to seeking innovative improvements.
