Envoy Global, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Accounting Controller for the EMEA region to enhance our expanding global finance team on a full-time, permanent basis. We are in search of a dynamic and skilled leader to manage all financial accounting and reporting activities across the EMEA area. The ideal candidate will possess a collaborative spirit, working closely with partners throughout the region to establish, execute, and uphold financial controls that align with our strategic organizational goals. Your expertise, coupled with a proactive mindset and a capacity for rapid learning, will enable you to excel in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the EMEA accounting team, including financial accounting and reporting, accounts payable, billing and collections, and treasury operations.
  • Collaborate with external accounting firms in regions lacking a local team to ensure accurate book closure and compliance with statutory obligations.
  • Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close processes, along with the preparation of financial statements that adhere to statutory requirements.
  • Work alongside the US Corporate Controller and FP&A team to conduct financial analyses that clarify variances in performance against budget forecasts and previous year results.
  • Develop and implement robust systems, accounting policies, and financial controls to ensure the integrity of all financial transactions and reporting.
  • Provide timely cash flow projections for performance evaluation and planning purposes.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5-10+ years of experience in managing monthly close processes and financial reporting, including finance operations (AR/AP), cash management, budgeting, and team leadership.
  • Advanced degree in Accounting, with CPA/ACCA certification required; an MBA is advantageous.
  • Experience in auditing within a public accounting firm, along with a career trajectory in accounting roles with increasing leadership responsibilities, is highly desirable.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, and critical thinking skills; consistently seeking to enhance processes.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong presentation capabilities.
  • A collaborative, customer-focused approach with the ability to cultivate strong relationships.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
  • Additional experience in the following areas is a plus:
    • Global Accounting
    • Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A)
    • Financial system enhancements
