Job Summary:

Adecco is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager to join our team as a Senior Events Manager. This is a temporary position for a period of 5 to 6 months, offering a unique opportunity to take ownership of a calendar of events for a leading business, ensuring they achieve their strategic priorities and goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Head of Events to support all business areas, including internal and external events, which may include conferences, event stands, incentives, and staff parties.
  • Work alongside another Event Manager and an Events Assistant to deliver up to 20 events per year for various business areas, ensuring all events meet the needs of the business and individual channels.
  • Contribute to the development of the group-wide events calendar, incorporating new business activity, internal engagement, and third-party event attendance.
  • Manage the responsibility of group-wide events and projects, including planning, budget management, stakeholder consultation, liaison, and event execution.
  • Support colleagues with smaller events throughout the year, ensuring maximum time and cost efficiencies.
  • Establish and maintain external relationships to maximize commercial results.
  • Monitor and assess sustainable events approaches.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest event technology and methodologies in the market and industry.
  • Travel to site visits and external meetings as required.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Event Manager in a corporate or in-house role.
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Experience managing internal engagement events and external client/customer events.
