Job Summary:

Adecco is seeking a highly skilled Senior Events Manager to join our team. As a Senior Events Manager, you will be responsible for planning and executing a calendar of events for our business, ensuring they align with our strategic priorities and goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Head of Events to deliver up to 20 events per year for various business areas, including conferences, event stands, incentives, and staff parties.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure all events meet the needs of the business and individual channels.
  • Develop and implement a group-wide events calendar, including new business activity, internal engagement, and third-party event attendance.
  • Manage the responsibility of group-wide events and projects, including planning, budget management, stakeholder consultation, liaison, and event execution.
  • Oversee hotel corporate rates and bookings across the business.
  • Support colleagues with smaller events throughout the year, ensuring maximum time and cost efficiencies.
  • Manage external relationships to ensure maximum commercial results.
  • Develop and implement a sustainable events approach.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest event technology and methodology in the market.
  • Travel to site visits and external meetings as needed, within the UK and Northern Ireland.

Requirements:

  • Degree/HND/BTEC or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience as an Event Manager in a corporate/in-house role.
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Proven experience managing internal engagement events and external client/customer events.
  • Highly organized and methodical.
  • Ability to think creatively and take on new ideas.
  • Strong communication skills and confidence to negotiate with others.
  • Strong business acumen to read situations and act accordingly.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.
