Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Coordinator to join our team at Cast UK Limited. As a Logistics Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting the management of order fulfillment and distribution to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurate Order Entry: Ensure that all sales orders are accurately entered, including pricing, quantities, 3PL location, delivery addresses, and order references.
  • Performance Tracking: Maintain and update internal performance trackers on a daily basis.
  • Stock Allocation: Allocate and plan stock for specific sales orders to ensure a seamless supply to internal and external customers.
  • Delivery Coordination: Coordinate deliveries to customers with 3PL providers and transport providers, as necessary.
  • Order Management: Support the end-to-end management of all UK, international, and USA orders, including communication with UK and US warehouses.
  • Reporting: Maintain daily orders on hold reporting to the finance, operations, and commercial teams.
  • Process Maintenance: Work closely with the operations and logistics manager to maintain process flows and customer operating guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Supply Chain Knowledge: A good understanding of working with key suppliers, settling clear and concise instructions, and measuring and monitoring performance.
  • Communication Skills: Effective communication with internal and external customers, ensuring clear, concise, and customer-centric lines of communication.
  • Operational Understanding: A thorough understanding of the required operational process from order receipt to final delivery.
  • Self-Motivation: Self-motivated and driven, with the ability to prioritize workloads to meet deadlines.
  • Excel Skills: Competency in Excel, including pivot tables, formulas, and tables.
