Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Coordinator to join our team at Cast UK Limited in London. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing support to the Product Team for the daily operational function of the department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Raise and place purchase orders for contract manufacture.
  • Obtain supplier quotations for goods.
  • Escalate any price increases over 5% to the Supply and Inventory Manager before PO's are placed.
  • Fully responsible for ensuring all purchasing deadlines listed.
  • Supporting Supply & Inventory Manager with distribution of documents for review, collation of comments and liaison with relevant team members.
  • Work closely with Project and Product teams due to the nature of Supply Chain having cross-functional processes.
  • Report to Management team on areas of Cost/Buying/Margin Improvement.

Requirements:

  • A good understanding of working with key suppliers, settling clear and concise instructions. Measuring and monitoring performance.
  • To communicate effectively with internal and external customers always ensuring clear, concise and customer considerate lines of communication.
  • To fully understand the required operational process from the point of order receipt through to final delivery.
  • Self-motivated and driven, ability to prioritize workloads to meet deadlines.
  • To prepare email templates covering key requirements of communication to ensure clear and concise instructions.
  • Systems-savvy with experience of using Excel.
  • Experience using NetSuite or Smartsheet would be preferred but is not essential.
