Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated full-time Child Communication Support Specialist to become a vital part of our dynamic Paediatric Therapies Team. Our team has received commendations for our effective strategies and timely assessments in supporting children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).

This role provides the opportunity to engage in diverse environments, including clinics, nurseries, children's centers, mainstream and special educational institutions, as well as working with preschool and school-aged children.

We pride ourselves on being a well-established, integrated, and supportive team. All support specialists benefit from regular individual and peer group supervision, along with access to both internal and external training programs.

Key Responsibilities

We are looking for a candidate who possesses experience and knowledge in educational settings, particularly with preschool children and those with special needs. The ideal candidate should be self-driven, enthusiastic, and capable of effective communication with a diverse range of individuals. While teamwork is essential, the ability to work independently is equally important. Proficiency in IT is crucial, with a strong command of Outlook, Excel, and Word.
