Job Title: Project Control Professional

Location: Barrow-in-Furness

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Control Professional to join our SSNA Reporting & Governance team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for establishing governance arrangements for the SSNA Programme and providing exposure across all programmes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform intermediate project reporting and governance
  • Undertake intermediate problem-solving typically based on previous experience
  • Attend on-the-job training as appropriate
  • Lead the PM&C processes on small non-complex projects or a work package of a larger project
  • Manage and analyze the outcome of the PM&C processes on a full project lifecycle to ensure that the needs of customers/users continue to be met and that financial and other benefits are achieved
  • Consolidate and analyze expertise from multiple sources, including third-party experts, to provide coherent advice to further organizational objectives
  • Support and promote the development and sharing of specialist knowledge within the organization

Requirements:

  • Background in project controls and project management
  • Good understanding of all project controls disciplines
  • Ability to analyze data
  • Excellent stakeholder management

Desirable:

  • Member of the APM or working towards APM Accreditation
  • Defence background
