Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Planning Specialist to join our team at Expleo. As a key member of our Integrated Project Team, you will be responsible for providing planning and project control services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and generate project schedules with input from Project Managers, Bid Managers, and Work Package Managers.
  • Maintain integrated project plans and work package interdependencies.
  • Analyze and control costs and schedule.
  • Contribute to qualitative and quantitative risk management processes.
  • Perform performance measurement, including Earned Value Management.
  • Participate in project and IPT discussions to direct, advise, and inform staff as projects progress.
  • Develop and maintain baselines following contract acceptance.
  • Controlled release of project plans for execution.
  • Consolidate project costs.
Essential Skills
  • Confident with industry-standard planning and scheduling techniques utilizing Primavera P6 and preferably SAP.
  • Proactive and motivated team players who can work collaboratively within the function and the wider Integrated Project team.
  • Demonstrable experience in successfully planning projects of varying levels of complexity and in different stages of the Project Lifecycle.
  • Ability to constructively challenge project performance and data with the IPT to ensure project plans and schedules reflect reality and mitigate risk to the business.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral, with advanced experience in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience in supporting bid activities through schedule development, risk management, and governance.
  • Analytical and logical nature with a strong desire for continuous improvement.
  • Able to recognize, develop, and maintain strong stakeholder relationships at all levels.
