Job Overview

Position Title: Project Manager

Compensation: £56,000+ based on qualifications and experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing a dedicated team of Technical Authors in the creation and revision of Test and Commissioning (T&C) Processes, Topic Manuals, and User Guides.
  • Directing the Toolset Team to ensure comprehensive scoping and delivery of all T&C toolset requirements, including the development of training user guides.
  • Achieving and reporting on key performance indicators.
  • Mentoring and developing team members to enhance their skills and capabilities.
  • Managing the delivery of the Test & Commissioning IT toolset program and its ongoing enhancements.
  • Producing process documentation to support the toolsets effectively.
  • Overseeing the review and update schedule for process document expirations.
  • Creating and refining key performance review reports.

Required Skills and Experience:

Essential:

  • Proven track record of meeting objectives aligned with Project Management IM&T competencies.
  • Possession of a Project Management qualification such as APM, or equivalent experience in an IT environment.
  • Experience in leading a high-performing team.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to guide and influence effectively.

Desirable:

  • Experience in defense program management.

As the Toolsets & Process Delivery Manager, you will lead a diverse team, ensuring the development of IT toolsets and processes that support the Dreadnought Test & Commissioning Team.
