Specialist Paediatric Physiotherapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Paediatric Physiotherapist to join our dynamic team at Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust. As a Specialist Paediatric Physiotherapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality physiotherapy services to children and young people with a range of physical disabilities and conditions.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a specialist caseload of children with complex physical and learning disabilities, including those with acute and chronic conditions.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans to address the unique needs of each child.
- Provide expert advice and guidance to parents, carers, and other healthcare professionals on the management and care of children with physical disabilities.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care and support for children and their families.
- Develop and deliver training programs for healthcare professionals, parents, and carers on topics related to paediatric physiotherapy.
- Contribute to the development of clinical guidelines and policies related to paediatric physiotherapy.
- Health Care Professions Council (HCPC) registration and a recognized physiotherapy degree qualification.
- Postgraduate experience in paediatric physiotherapy, including assessment, treatment, and management of children with complex conditions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, parents, carers, and healthcare professionals.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage a heavy caseload.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
- Essential:
- Health Care Professions Council (HCPC) registration.
- Recognized physiotherapy degree qualification.
- Postgraduate experience in paediatric physiotherapy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Desirable:
- Experience working in a paediatric setting, including acute and community services.
- Knowledge of paediatric physiotherapy assessment and treatment techniques.
- Ability to work with children with complex and chronic conditions.
