Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Specialist Physiotherapist to join our team at London North West Healthcare NHS Trust. As a Specialist Physiotherapist, you will play a key role in providing high-quality physiotherapy services to our patients.

Main Responsibilities

As a Specialist Physiotherapist, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Assessing and treating patients with a range of physical conditions, including musculoskeletal and neurological disorders.
  • Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans to meet the needs of each patient.
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
  • Providing education and support to patients and their families to promote independence and self-management.
  • Conducting research and audits to improve physiotherapy services and patient outcomes.

Requirements

To be successful as a Specialist Physiotherapist, you will need:

  • A degree in Physiotherapy or a related field.
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Experience of working in a healthcare setting, preferably in a specialist physiotherapy role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Desirable Criteria

It would be beneficial if you have:

  • Experience of working with patients with complex or chronic conditions.
  • Knowledge of patient confidentiality and consent.
  • Ability to use Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
