About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Neurology Physiotherapist Specialist to join our team at London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing specialist neurology physiotherapy services to patients with complex neurological disabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and treat patients with complex neurological disabilities, providing a specialist neurology physiotherapy service.
- Work as a member of the multidisciplinary team, assessing and treating patients with complex neurological disabilities and maintaining accurate and comprehensive patient records.
- Contribute to the management of all aspects of the Neurology Inpatient Physiotherapy Service, including prioritizing and organizing referrals and allocating patients.
- Develop and appraise team members, including Band 5, 4, 2, and students, and provide regular training and education to physiotherapy staff, other healthcare professionals, and students.
- Engage in ongoing professional development and service development, and participate in clinical audit and research within the team.
Requirements
- Experience as a Band 5 physiotherapist in both acute and rehabilitation settings.
- Dynamic approach to work and ability to work in a changing environment.
- MSc or BSc in physiotherapy and HCPC registration.
- Post-qualification relevant neuro courses and ACPIN membership desirable.
