Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced physiotherapist to join our team at London North West Healthcare NHS Trust. As a Highly Specialist Physiotherapist, you will be responsible for providing expert physiotherapy services to patients with complex needs.

Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Assessing and treating patients with a range of conditions, including musculoskeletal, neurological, and respiratory disorders.
  • Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Conducting audits and research to improve physiotherapy services and patient care.
  • Providing education and training to patients, families, and healthcare staff on physiotherapy techniques and best practices.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A dietetic degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Experience of managing a caseload of inpatients and outpatients.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate with patients and families from diverse backgrounds.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

Desirable Criteria

It would be beneficial if you have experience in:

  • Home enteral feeding discharge.
  • Developing resources and educational materials.

Personal Qualities

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Initiative and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Strong IT skills and ability to use electronic patient records.
