Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Physiotherapist to join our Paediatric team as a Specialist Paediatric Physiotherapist. This is an exciting opportunity to work with children and young people with a variety of conditions, providing specialist Physiotherapy services in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide specialist Physiotherapy services to children and young people with physical disabilities and complex needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, taking into account the unique needs and goals of each child.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including healthcare professionals, educators, and families, to ensure comprehensive care and support.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify areas of strength and weakness, and develop targeted interventions to promote optimal function and mobility.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in paediatric Physiotherapy, and apply this knowledge to inform clinical decision-making and practice.
  • Communicate effectively with children, young people, and their families, using clear and simple language to explain complex concepts and treatment plans.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with colleagues, stakeholders, and community partners to ensure seamless care coordination and referral pathways.
Requirements
  • Health Care Professions Council - Licence to Practice
  • Recognised Physiotherapy Degree Qualification and Registered Member of Chartered Society of Physiotherapists (CSP)
  • Evidence of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) in paediatric Physiotherapy
  • Experience working in paediatric Physiotherapy, with a strong understanding of child development and the needs of children with physical disabilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, young people, and their families
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to collaborative practice and patient-centered care
