Job Title: Sales & Purchasing Coordinator

We are working with a leading specialist packaging manufacturer to find the newest member of their customer service team.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Customer Support: Provide professional, proactive, confidential, and customer-focused support and assistance to the sales, operational, and management team.
  2. Communication: Effectively screen all incoming communications, initiate and coordinate actions with due regard to confidentiality and data protection using a customer-centric approach.
  3. Administrative Support: Maintain customer, supplier, and stock databases and records, process sales and purchase orders, and coordinate administrative support of stock receipts and deliveries to customers.
  4. Warehouse Management: Maintain the warehouse stocking plan and support the company's small manufacturing unit.
  5. Team Collaboration: Work as a team player, providing guidance to other office admin staff, maintaining adequate and appropriate levels of cover and support to the sales team, minimizing service disruption, and maximizing efficiency.

Requirements:

  1. Mathematical Proficiency: Good level of proficiency in mathematics.
  2. Communication Skills: Strong ability to retain information and data, combined with sound computer literacy (including Outlook email, MS Word/Excel) and preferably previous experience of using a CRM system.
