Job Summary

NJR Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Procurement Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our procurement operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of procurement strategies to drive cost savings and improve supply chain efficiency.
  • Provide administrative support to procurement operations, including data management, vendor research, and contract administration.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.
  • Monitor and analyze procurement data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Support the development and implementation of procurement policies and procedures.
  • Provide excellent customer service to internal stakeholders, including responding to queries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a procurement or supply chain role, preferably in a commercial property and facilities company.
  • Excellent data management skills, with the ability to identify inconsistencies and trends.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge of procurement principles and practices, including contract law and supply chain management.
