Procurement Coordinator

LIVINGWAY is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Procurement Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and executing the end-to-end procurement process, ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services that meet our needs. As a Procurement Coordinator, you will collaborate closely with various suppliers to develop and implement effective procurement strategies while maintaining strong relationships with suppliers.
**Responsibilities (but not limited to)**
- Develop and implement procurement strategies.
- Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities.
- Collaborate with onsite teams to understand their procurement requirements.
- Develop procurement strategies aligned with business objectives and cost optimisation.
- Continuously monitor market trends and identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Identify fast moving stock and align with production forecasts to mitigate risk of stock shortages.
- Prepare and issue Requests for Proposal (RFPs), Requests for Quotation (RFQs), and Requests for Information (RFIs) from potential suppliers.
- Evaluate and analyse supplier proposals, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with established procurement policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with management to review and finalise contractual agreements.
- Maintain accurate procurement records, including supplier information, contracts, and purchase orders.
- Identify, assess, and onboard new suppliers, ensuring they meet quality, sustainability, and ethical standards.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, addressing any performance issues and driving continuous improvement.
- Conduct supplier performance evaluations and audits to ensure adherence to contractual obligations.
- Monitor supplier performance metrics, such as delivery time, quality, and cost, and take corrective actions when necessary.
- Conduct cost analyses and identify opportunities for cost savings and process efficiencies.
- Collaborate with management to develop and implement cost reduction initiatives.
- Monitor and manage procurement budgets to ensure adherence and mitigate financial risks.
**Requirements**:
Proven experience as a Procurement Coordinator or in a similar procurement role.
In-depth knowledge of procurement processes, sourcing strategies, and supplier management.
Strong negotiation, contract management, and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal, on-site teams and suppliers.
Proficiency in using procurement software and tools.
Ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing business needs.
