An excellent opportunity has emerged within the Health Records division for the Records Access Coordinator role. This position is integral to our commitment to service excellence and patient support.

The successful candidate will join a dynamic and efficient team that is committed to placing patient care at the heart of our operations.

The Records Access department operates from 08:30 to 16:30, Monday to Friday, with service demands extending from 08:00 to 20:00, Monday through Sunday.

Key Responsibilities

This role may support various teams, which could include both clinical and administrative personnel.

It is essential to understand the confidential nature of this work and to maintain the highest level of discretion when interacting with patients, staff, and other health service matters. All duties related to Records Access must be performed in accordance with departmental objectives, the Health Records Operational Policy, the Data Protection Act, and the Access to Health Records Act 1990.

Responsibilities include managing internal and external telephone inquiries.

The primary focus of this role will encompass data entry, proficient keyboard skills, and the appropriate use of display screen equipment, along with the careful handling of healthcare records.
