About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Desktop Support Specialist to join our team at Benefact Group plc. As a Desktop Support Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring a professional and resilient desktop support service for our end users.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide timely and effective technical support to end users, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
  • Collaborate with the team to maintain a 100% fixed-on-target resolution time, ensuring prompt support for all users.
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of desktop infrastructure, including Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM).
  • Assist with the deployment and management of Windows devices, including software deployment and asset management.
  • Provide remote support for the entire organisation, using tools such as Microsoft Teams and Poly AV equipment.
  • Collect performance data to monitor desktop efficiency against service level agreements.
  • Support the development and maintenance of technical documentation and knowledge base articles.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in an IT Desktop support role, with a strong understanding of Microsoft Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365 tools.
  • Experience with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) and automated deployment techniques.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365 tools and their integration, including OneDrive and Microsoft Teams.
  • Ability to assist users with OneDrive usage and provide remote support.
  • Competence in remote troubleshooting and assistance, using tools such as Microsoft Teams and Poly AV equipment.
  • Experience in deploying software and managing assets, including networked printers.
  • Proven relevant technical IT experience, with a strong understanding of ITIL V3/V4 support framework and change management.
