At GLL, we're seeking a skilled Baby & Pre School Swimming Teacher to join our team in Croydon. This is a fantastic opportunity to deliver high-quality swimming lessons to our youngest customers, while also developing your teaching skills and career.

As a Baby & Pre School Swimming Teacher, you'll be responsible for delivering engaging and safe swimming lessons to babies and toddlers, following our SWIMBiES programme. You'll need to be confident in your ability to sing in public and communicate effectively with parents and guardians.

We're looking for someone with a passion for working with young children and a strong understanding of child development. You'll need to hold one of the following qualifications:

  • STA Level 2 Award in Baby & Pre School Swimming Teacher
  • Swim England Level 2 Teaching Pre-School Swimming
  • STA Level 3 Diploma in Baby & Pre School Swimming Teacher

If you don't hold one of these qualifications but have a STA Level 2 Award or certificate and a passion for delivering Baby & Pre School swimming lessons, we'll work with you to develop your delivery experience.

As a Baby & Pre School Swimming Teacher, you'll have experience and knowledge in the following areas:

  • Working with babies and toddlers
  • Working with parents and guardians
  • Understanding of child development in relation to baby swimming lessons
  • Knowledge of songs and games suitable for baby swimming lessons
