Japanese Speaking Sales Administrator

A Japanese trading company is seeking a highly skilled Sales Administrator to join their team in Bristol. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for order processing, inventory control, shipping coordination, and other administrative tasks related to the aerospace and naval marine business.
The ideal candidate will possess business-level fluency in both Japanese and English, with experience in import/export business being a significant advantage. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong organizational and planning abilities, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills are essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process requests for quotes, purchase orders, and invoices
- Arrange shipments, including inland, export to Japan, and import from Japan
- Track delivery schedules and follow up as necessary
- Make data entries onto the company's computer system
- Generate shipping documents, export/import
- Handle claim disposition
- Take care of post-delivery tasks
- Coordinate guest accommodation, including transportation, hotel, and restaurant arrangements
- Provide secretarial support to the coordinator, manager, and/or MD
Requirements:
- Business-level fluency in both Japanese and English
- Experience in import/export business (desirable)
- Ability to work in a small office environment with a strong team
- PC skills are essential
Working Conditions:
- Office-based work
- 9:00-17:00, Monday to Friday
- Bristol location
Salary and Benefits:
- £24-26K depending on experience, plus good benefits
