We are excited to announce an opportunity for a Project Manager within our expanding Street Lighting division at FM Conway. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the comprehensive planning, execution, and successful completion of significant street lighting projects in urban environments. Your leadership will be crucial in guiding a dedicated team, ensuring that all projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborating with the pre-contracts team to assist in the preparation of tenders, while providing insights on feasibility, safety documentation, and the development of the tender schedule.

- Overseeing, coordinating, and evaluating tender documents and designs to support the team effectively.

- Crafting the contract schedule and managing project timelines and deliverables meticulously.

- Actively addressing changes in project scope, recognizing potential challenges, and formulating contingency strategies.

- Identifying opportunities throughout the project lifecycle concerning construction methods, site resources, and materials.

- Ensuring compliance with Lighting Safe Systems of work, while developing and maintaining site-specific risk assessments and method statements to uphold the highest health and safety standards.

- Supporting the Commercial team in generating monthly valuations, cost reports, and cost plans, including compensation events.

Required Skills and Experience:

We are looking for a seasoned Project Manager with a proven track record in street lighting and highway infrastructure projects. You should possess extensive knowledge of project planning and scheduling in street lighting, with the ability to lead and manage a team effectively. A solid background in electrical installations, NEC contracts, and HERS/NERS compliance is essential. Candidates must hold a NRSWA for Supervisors certification, SMSTS, IOSH health and safety qualification or equivalent, along with an emergency first aid certification. A full UK driving license is required due to the need for travel to various company locations.
