As part of a dedicated team of four logistics professionals, the ideal candidate will possess a solid background in logistics coordination, multi-modal transportation, and familiarity with specialized projects is highly advantageous.

Logistics Coordinator - Special Projects - Role Overview

  • Determining the most suitable transportation methods while minimizing potential risks.
  • Managing and aiding in the preparation and submission of client quotations, documenting information in company systems, and following up to secure contracts.
  • Arranging shipments with transport providers, maritime carriers, and airlines.
  • Completing air waybills, bills of lading, customs documentation, and preparing all necessary paperwork for export and re-import.
  • Communicating and updating clients, international agents, and suppliers as required.
  • Overseeing and monitoring transit routes with transport providers, maritime carriers, airlines, and international partners.
  • Supervising and assisting with cost management and shipment billing, including sending invoices and supporting documentation to relevant parties.

Logistics Coordinator - Special Projects - Position Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a logistics operational role (multi-modal experience is a plus). The position is export-focused.
  • A valid, clean driving license.

Logistics Coordinator - Special Projects - Position Benefits

  • Standard working hours: Monday - Friday, 09:00 - 17:30 (monitoring of shipments may occasionally be required outside of these hours).
  • 28 days of annual leave, inclusive of public holidays.
  • Pension scheme.
