About the Role

Ferring Pharmaceuticals is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the position of Market Supply Chain Lead. This role is a vital part of our team, responsible for ensuring the efficient and smooth coordination of our supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective supply chain strategies to meet the needs of our customers and patients.
  • Manage and coordinate the flow of goods, services, and information from raw materials to end customers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve supply chain issues and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, and logistics providers.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure supply chain efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Lead and participate in projects aimed at improving sales, service levels, and reducing costs.
Requirements
  • University degree in science, economics, or business or equivalent.
  • Minimum 8 years industry experience in Supply Chain in an International environment.
  • Minimum 2 years in a role with regular interaction with Senior Management.
  • Previous experience in warehousing and distribution, order to cash, and/or distributor management.
  • Experience in Demand Planning and ERP Tools, e.g., SAP, Oracle, Kinaxis, as well as other data analysis tools.
  • APICS qualification an advantage.
  • Proven change management experience, including working with mindset change/focus.
  • Effective communication, persuasion, and influencing, including up to country GM level.
  • Able to lead and participate in problem-solving across functions, regions, and businesses.
  • People management – Responsible for recruiting, training, and development of direct reports.
  • Fluent in one or more national languages and English.
  • Dutch will be a plus.
  • Strong knowledge and expertise in Excel.
