We are excited to announce an opportunity at FM Conway for a Project Manager within our expanding Street Lighting division. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the planning, execution, and successful completion of our prestigious street lighting projects in urban environments. This position involves leading a dedicated team, providing essential support, and ensuring that all projects are completed on schedule and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities of the Project Manager include:

- Assisting the pre-contracts team in the preparation of tenders, offering insights on feasibility, safety documentation, and the development of the tender schedule.

- Overseeing, coordinating, and evaluating tender materials and designs for the team.

- Crafting the contract schedule and managing project timelines and deliverables effectively.

- Actively managing changes in project scope, recognizing potential challenges, and formulating contingency strategies.

- Identifying opportunities throughout the project lifecycle regarding construction methods, site resources, and materials.

- Ensuring that all operations are conducted in compliance with established safety systems, and developing site-specific risk assessments and method statements to uphold the highest health and safety standards.

- Supporting the Commercial team in generating monthly valuations, cost reports, and financial plans, including compensation events.

Required Skills and Experience:

We are looking for a seasoned Project Manager with a proven track record in street lighting and infrastructure projects. You should possess extensive knowledge of project planning and scheduling in the street lighting sector and be adept at managing and leading a team. A solid background in electrical installations, familiarity with NEC contracts, and compliance with HERS/NERS standards is essential. Candidates must hold a NRSWA for Supervisors certification, along with SMSTS, IOSH health and safety qualifications or their equivalents, and emergency first aid certification. A full UK driving license is required due to the necessity of travel to various company locations.
