We are excited to announce an opportunity at FM Conway for a Project Manager within our expanding Street Lighting division. In this role, you will be instrumental in orchestrating, implementing, and concluding the execution of our prominent street lighting projects in Central London. Your leadership will be essential in guiding a team, offering support, and ensuring that projects are completed on schedule and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities of the Project Manager include:

- Assisting the pre-contracts team in preparing tenders, providing insights on feasibility, safety documentation, and the development of the tender schedule.

- Overseeing, coordinating, and evaluating tender materials and designs for the team.

- Developing the contract schedule and managing project timelines and deliverables.

- Actively managing alterations in project scope, recognizing potential challenges, and formulating contingency strategies.

- Spotting opportunities throughout the project lifecycle concerning construction methods, site resources, and materials.

- Ensuring that operations are established and maintained in line with Lighting Safe Systems of work, as well as crafting and enhancing site-specific risk assessments and method statements to uphold the highest health and safety standards.

- Supporting the Commercial team in generating monthly valuations, cost reports, and cost plans, including compensation events.

Required Skills and Experience:

We are looking for a seasoned Project Manager with a proven track record in street lighting and highway infrastructure. You should possess extensive knowledge of street lighting project planning and programming, along with the ability to effectively manage and lead a team. A solid background in electrical installations, NEC contracts, and HERS/NERS compliance is essential. You must hold a NRSWA for Supervisors certification, SMSTS, IOSH health and safety qualification or equivalent, and an emergency first aid qualification. A full UK driving license is required due to the necessity for travel to various company locations.
