Job Opportunity at Barts Health NHS Trust

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Locum Consultant Physician to join our team at Newham University Hospital.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality medical care to patients in Acute or General Medicine, with the option to specialize in a particular area.
  • Supervise and mentor junior medical staff, including medical students and junior doctors.
  • Develop and lead research projects, and supervise trainees in their research.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.

Requirements:

  • A higher degree (MD, PhD) in a relevant field.
  • Higher specialist training in General Internal Medicine or Acute Medicine, with experience in a Specialty Interest area.
  • Broad experience in Acute or General Medicine, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality patient care.
  • Experience in Ambulatory care and supervising medical staff.
