About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Acute Medicine Consultant to join our team at London North West Healthcare NHS Trust. As a key member of our medical team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our acute medicine services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership and expertise in acute medicine, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients
  • Develop and implement effective care plans to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication
  • Participate in clinical governance and service development to improve patient care and outcomes
  • Contribute to teaching and research activities to advance medical knowledge and practice
Requirements
  • Eligibility to register with the General Medical Council (GMC)
  • Experience in acute medicine, with a strong track record of clinical expertise and leadership
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing priorities and demands
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuing medical education
