Job Opportunity for Consultant in Acute Medicine

National Locums is working with an NHS trust in North London to find a locum Consultant in Medicine.

The Virtual Hospital, part of the NHS trust, is seeking a Consultant in Respiratory, Acute, or General Medicine to start as soon as possible for an initial period of 2-3 months.

Core working hours will be Monday – Friday, 09:00-17:00, with some weekend shifts if desired.

The job role involves seeing patients on the ward to recruit to the virtual ward and supporting the nursing and junior doctor team.

About half of the job is virtual, and the other half involves recruiting patients, supporting ward teams, referring to the virtual hospital, and MDT support.

To be eligible, you must hold a full GMC license to practice and have NHS experience in Medicine.
