About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Young Adults Support Worker to join our team at Depaul UK. As a key member of our dynamic team, you will play a vital role in supporting and empowering young adults facing homelessness to achieve independence and self-sufficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality support to clients, addressing their physical, emotional, social, and behavioral needs.
  • Manage a caseload of young people, creating holistic support plans and risk assessments to ensure goals are identified and met.
  • Build supportive relationships with clients while maintaining professional boundaries.
  • Deal with challenging behavior in an appropriate and sensitive manner, adhering to policies and procedures.
  • Ensure the smooth running of the project, implementing house rules and organizational policies as required.
What We Are Looking For
  • Experience working in a residential housing project for young people experiencing homelessness.
  • Knowledge of the support needs of young people and how they might be best met, including statutory and voluntary resources.
  • Understanding of the principle causes and effects of youth homelessness.
