We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Young Adults Support Worker to join our team at Depaul UK. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting and empowering young adults experiencing homelessness to achieve their goals and live independently.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality support to clients, addressing their physical, emotional, social, and behavioural needs.
- Manage a caseload of young people, creating holistic support plans and risk assessments to ensure goals are identified and met.
- Build supportive relationships with clients while maintaining professional boundaries.
- Deal with challenging behaviour in an appropriate and sensitive manner, keeping within the boundaries of policies and procedures.
- Ensure the smooth running of the project, implementing house rules and organisational policies and procedures as required.
- Experience of working in a residential housing project for young people experiencing homelessness.
- Experience of involving clients in the way services are designed to meet their needs.
- Knowledge of the support needs of young people and how they might be best met, including statutory and voluntary resources.
- A comprehensive training package tailored to your needs and role.
- Flexible working model for suitable roles.
- 26 days annual leave rising to 30 after five years' service.
