We are pleased to present an opportunity for a skilled Team Leader to become part of our Conference and Events division at Celtic Manor Resort.

The position demands a keen attention to detail to guarantee that the utmost standards of service are maintained throughout the guests' experience at the Resort.
You should be an outstanding team player, an inspiring motivator, possess excellent communication skills, and have a genuine enthusiasm for delivering exceptional customer service. A professional demeanor and high standards of presentation are essential.
Ideally, you will have experience leading a team in a hospitality setting and a strong desire to provide our customers with an unforgettable experience.
Experience in a 4* or 5* hotel or a background in high-volume banqueting environments would be advantageous.
WHAT YOU'LL DO ...
As one of several Team Leaders reporting to the Operations Manager, you will oversee small teams to facilitate the execution of daily events.
This may involve managing a small event or a series of smaller meetings, or supervising a busy lunch service.
During dinner service, your role will involve leading a team of up to 12 staff to serve plated meals to designated tables, ensuring that every guest receives their requested meal, including managing special dietary requirements.
Prior to service, you will conduct a briefing with your team to clarify responsibilities and inspect your area.
Strong organizational skills, the ability to prioritize tasks, and quick thinking are crucial, as changes can occur with little notice.
Depending on your skills and career aspirations, you may have the opportunity to engage with clients and will be provided with the training and experience necessary to confidently manage events for up to 150 attendees, with support available for those aiming to progress to Supervisor, Floor Manager, and beyond.

The Celtic Collection is a distinguished group of experience-driven UK hotels and venues, stemming from the success of the Celtic Manor Resort, a premier destination in South Wales.

The Celtic Collection encompasses the 330-room, five-star Resort Hotel, the historic 19th-century Manor House with 70 rooms, the 148-room Coldra Court, the Newbridge on Usk country inn with six rooms, Tŷ Hotel Magor with 129 bedrooms, and 10 luxurious Hunter Lodges.
The Celtic Collection has partnered with the Welsh Government to establish the International Convention Centre Wales at Celtic Manor, featuring a 4,000 sq m pillar-free main hall, a 1,500-seat auditorium, versatile meeting rooms, and ample breakout and networking spaces.
Future expansion plans include the opening of Cardiff's most luxurious hotel in collaboration with the Welsh Rugby Union and a new Tŷ Hotel Milford Waterfront in partnership with the Port of Milford Haven.
