Position Overview

EKFB, a collaborative venture uniting top-tier expertise from leading civil engineering firms, is on the lookout for a Sub Agent specializing in Earthworks to enhance our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in formulating the construction strategy, including conducting kick-off meetings and preparing essential documentation such as Method Statements, Environmental and Quality Plans, and Construction Programmes.
  • Coordinate with the Agent and Section Foreman to effectively allocate resources, including labor, equipment, materials, and temporary works, ensuring compliance with project standards, timelines, and budget.
  • Oversee the site engineering team, fostering their performance and professional growth, while ensuring adherence to safety, health, environmental, and quality (SHEQ) standards.
  • Contribute to the development of project schedules, progress reports, resource allocation plans, and financial forecasts, while also engaging in site measurement and material reconciliations.

Candidate Profile:

To thrive in this role, candidates should possess:

  • A relevant HNC/Degree in Construction or Civil Engineering, or equivalent qualifications.
  • A valid CSCS card (one of the following: Black, White, White/Yellow, Yellow, or Red Experienced).
  • Mandatory SMSTS certification.
  • Proven knowledge and practical experience in Site Engineering activities, coupled with strong construction supervision capabilities.
  • Significant experience in Earthworks.
  • Prior involvement in quality assurance and geotechnical management is advantageous.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
