We are seeking a highly skilled Site Engineer to join our team at EKFB. As a Site Engineer, you will play a crucial role in overseeing junior engineers on site and assisting with construction operations.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with the Sub Agent and Section Foreman to allocate labour, equipment, and materials to meet required standards, schedules, and budgets.
- Work with the setting-out team to ensure the performance and development of junior engineers.
- Identify and resolve technical issues in coordination with the senior team and Sub Agent.
- Monitor and coordinate subcontractors to ensure their work meets contractual requirements.
- Ensure the team has all necessary information and resources to perform their duties.
- Assist in producing schedules, progress reports, resource and cost plans, and contribute to financial forecasting.
- HNC/Degree (construction/civil engineering related) or equivalent and working towards institute membership (ICE).
- Experience in civil engineering and specifically Earthworks.
- CSCS White, White-Yellow, Red - Experienced, Black - Manager or Gold - Supervisor.
- Demonstration of knowledge and practical application of site engineering activities combines with construction supervision skills.
- Full Driving License and access to a vehicle.

We are proud to have been appointed by HS2 to deliver civil engineering works across an 80km section of the new high speed rail link between the Chiltern Tunnel and Long Itchington Wood. Our scope of the works includes 15 viaducts, 5km of green tunnels, 22km of road diversions, 67 overbridges, and around 30 million cubic metres of excavation.
