We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sub Agent to join our Calvert Area team based near Buckingham. This is a key role that requires a strong understanding of construction strategy, site engineering, and operations.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with the development and implementation of construction strategies, including kick-off meetings, method statements, environmental and quality plans, construction programs, procurement, and design deliverable schedules.
- Liaise with the Agent and Section Foreman to allocate labor, plant, materials, and temporary works to ensure the successful execution of construction activities.
- Manage the site engineering team, including site and section engineers, to ensure the delivery of high-quality construction projects.
- Coordinate construction operations to ensure compliance with contract requirements and maintain a high level of safety, health, environment, and quality (SHEQ).
- Assist with the production of programs, progress reports, resource and cost plans, and contribute to financial forecasting, site measurement, material reconciliations, and cost control.
- HNC/Degree (Construction/Civil Engineering related) or equivalent.
- Demonstration of knowledge and practical application of site engineering activities combined with construction supervision skills.
- Must have experience of working on structures, highways, and/or drainage.
- Must hold the following competencies: SMSTS, CSCS White, White/Yellow, Red-Experienced, Black-Manager or Gold-Supervisor.
- Must hold a full driving license.
