Head of Portfolio Management

National Grid is seeking a seasoned professional to lead its Portfolio and Regulatory Management function.
The successful candidate will be responsible for driving transparency, accountability, and integrated end-to-end investment and portfolio management, with a strong focus on regulatory compliance.
Key Aspects- Develop and implement comprehensive investment plans and regulatory recovery strategies to drive business growth and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and prioritize portfolio investments, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Provide thought leadership and oversight across the organization, ensuring effective management of regulatory risks and opportunities.
- Develop and maintain productive relationships with regulators, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Leading the development and implementation of portfolio management strategies, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define and prioritize portfolio investments, ensuring effective management of regulatory risks and opportunities.
- Providing thought leadership and oversight across the organization, ensuring effective management of regulatory risks and opportunities.
- Developing and maintaining productive relationships with regulators, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in portfolio management, regulatory compliance, and investment planning.
- Proven track record of driving business growth and ensuring regulatory compliance in a highly regulated environment.
- Strong leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence and manage senior stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to develop and maintain productive relationships with regulators, stakeholders, and internal teams.
