Global Benefits Program Manager

Product Management Responsibilities

1. Lead and coordinate project management efforts to ensure the effective global implementation of the Benefex platform.

2. Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate project progress and risks clearly.

3. Build and maintain relationships with business leaders, product managers, technical teams, cross-functional partners, and vendors to encourage collaboration and alignment.

4. Develop clear and actionable problem statements to guide teams in achieving results.

5. Utilize customer insights to create user stories and establish clear acceptance criteria for roadmap features related to Benefex and associated scrum teams, such as Benefits and Leaves.

6. Design exceptional Human Resources experiences for our workforce.

7. Own and prioritize the immediate product roadmap for Benefex to achieve business objectives, swiftly identifying leverage points in complex challenges and effectively using data to define success metrics and measurable outcomes.

Requirements Gathering and Analysis

1. Collaborate closely with Business Owners, local project leads, and vendors to gather and document requirements, challenges, and desired outcomes.

2. Convert intricate business requirements into technical specifications.

Solution Design and Implementation

1. Work with cross-functional teams to design and implement the global Benefex platform to meet business needs and deliver value.

2. Create, develop, document, and facilitate communication and knowledge transfer materials to share between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring clarity on standard operating procedures and best practices for benefits and leave management, customer support service level agreements, and the capabilities and limitations of Benefex and integrated systems.

Data Analysis and Insights

1. Collaborate with vendors and scrum teams to understand available data sources, quality, and analytical capabilities.

2. Conduct analyses using Benefits and Leaves data and analytical techniques to uncover insights that can guide business decisions, Benefex setup, and the Benefits vision provided by Business Owners.

Project Management

1. Oversee the program delivery of multiple interconnected projects while fostering effective relationships with stakeholders.

2. Employ various planning approaches to gather information for developing, facilitating, and leading complex business cases, plans, and schedules (e.g., ROI). Proficient in using planning tools and developing cross-functional plans.

3. Manage stakeholder relationships, understanding their needs and building effective connections. Demonstrate influencing skills to achieve solutions and navigate challenging stakeholder situations.

4. Utilize diverse communication methods to convey relevant information to the audience and project needs. Be well-versed in standardized tools and template requirements, serving as a resource for feedback on project/program management standards.

5. Implement a comprehensive risk management approach that spans from project-level to strategic risk management as necessary. When faced with challenges, apply critical thinking and analyze available information to resolve issues collaboratively.

6. Ensure successful program delivery of multiple related projects aligned with specific business functional strategies. Mentor junior project/program team members in project management practices.

7. Address resource management challenges (people, finances, etc.) by resolving budgetary issues with internal teams and external suppliers, successfully concluding disputes independently.

8. For employees in Customer Care and Experience: Manage large-scale, complex, multi-site, and multi-regional customer deployments involving cross-functional and cross-regional project teams. Engage with customer executives at the program level, developing an overall program schedule in line with customer requirements. Hold internal stakeholders accountable for meeting commitments, leveraging in-depth technical knowledge of all Equinix products and processes. Resolve complex issues and escalations independently at all levels, assisting in process development and documentation while sharing lessons learned with stakeholders.

Qualifications:

1. Experience with Benefex, Darwin, or similar global benefits vendor implementations is essential.

2. Familiarity with Workday HCM is preferred.

3. Experience in benefits and leave management is advantageous.

4. Strong project management, process, and organizational skills are required.

5. A results-driven mindset with the ability to work effectively within a cross-functional team is essential.
