Position Overview:

The Global Benefits Project Consultant will play a crucial role in facilitating the alignment of benefits and leave programs. This position will primarily concentrate on the harmonization of benefits and pension schemes across the EMEA region, affecting over 2,500 employees across more than 20 countries from various legacy organizations.

This role will report to the Director of International Compensation & Benefits Projects, who oversees the harmonization initiatives globally, while also collaborating closely with the Director of Compensation & Benefits for the EMEA region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive comparisons of benefit and pension schemes in each country, analyzing market data and providing recommendations for harmonization, including impact assessments, scenario modeling, and cost evaluations as necessary.
  • Develop presentations and materials to facilitate stakeholder consultations and secure approvals across HR, legal, finance, and leadership teams. Address feedback and design concerns effectively.
  • Oversee the employee consultation process (when applicable) to ensure acceptance of changes by preparing relevant materials, managing Q&A sessions, and ensuring thorough legal review and impact assessments are conducted.
  • Collaborate with the HR Operations team to evaluate processes and identify opportunities for alignment and efficiency improvements related to benefits and the implications of changes.
  • Manage the implementation of changes, including drafting communications, updating processes, and coordinating stakeholder communications and system requirements.
  • Coordinate with brokers and vendors throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Prepare and oversee the updates of content following the harmonization process in benefit systems, templates, and informational materials.
  • Manage the overall project roadmap, communicating progress to leadership and conducting update/training sessions for the People & Culture community as required.

Qualifications:

  • Project Management & Delivery: Demonstrated success in delivering significant and complex projects utilizing effective project management methodologies. Capable of managing multiple projects/tasks simultaneously while prioritizing and delegating as needed.
  • Expertise: Extensive experience in International Benefits, including the design and implementation of new plans. Familiarity with M&A, TUPE Transfers, and harmonization processes.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Proven ability to establish strong relationships with stakeholders, effectively influence others, and manage conflicts. Experience in driving change within complex, matrixed environments.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional communication abilities, capable of conveying complex messages and concepts clearly and engagingly, while tailoring communication styles to suit diverse audiences.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational capabilities with a focus on designing processes and operational practices that minimize risk and enhance efficiency.
