Bird Hills Golf Centre is seeking a qualified individual to become a vital member of our dedicated senior management team.

The ideal candidate will possess substantial experience in a comparable setting, demonstrating exceptional interpersonal abilities and a talent for building strong relationships.

We are in search of a professional who can enhance and optimize our operational procedures while ensuring meticulous attention to detail in the daily financial oversight of the Club.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the daily operations of the clubhouse, ensuring smooth and efficient management of activities and events.
  • Collaborate closely with the Head Chef to guarantee that all food services meet the highest standards and maximize revenue across all clubhouse functions.
  • Drive the growth potential of the function, bar, and catering services to secure the Club's financial prosperity.
  • Maintain an appealing and high-quality food and beverage selection for both members and guests.
  • Ensure compliance with maintenance and legal requirements related to the Clubhouse and bar.
  • Manage the recruitment, onboarding, training, and development of all Front of House personnel.
  • Ensure that all Front of House staff receive comprehensive training in Health and Safety protocols, including incident and fire evacuation procedures.
  • Develop and manage staff schedules for Front of House operations.
  • Oversee clubhouse cash management, including the reconciliation of daily takings.
  • Conduct regular and precise beverage inventory assessments.
  • Ensure that bar and kitchen equipment is routinely inspected, maintained, and repaired as necessary.
  • Act as a key holder and be included in the emergency call-out roster.
  • Lead and motivate the clubhouse, bar, and kitchen teams through effective communication.
  • Work alongside the General Manager to create risk assessments for clubhouse activities.
  • Adhere to the Club's GDPR and health and safety policies.
Qualifications:
  • Experience in function management.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
  • Experience in bartending and cellar management.
  • Background in hospitality management.
  • Familiarity with kitchen operations.
  • Experience in restaurant management.
  • Team leadership experience.
