Facilities Operations Manager – Carbon60 – Facilities Management

An exceptional opportunity has emerged to become part of a leading Facilities Management organization in the UK, situated at a prominent location.

  • Standard working hours: Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm
  • Location: Reading, England

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and Reactive tasks to ensure they are completed within Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Implement efficient planning strategies for reactive and PPM tasks, ensuring timely delivery of additional works and task orders.
  • Maintain full compliance with internal and external audits, assisting site teams during the audit process to minimize Corrective Action Requests (CARs).
  • Ensure that site team schedules are current and align with contract specifications.
  • Act as the Incident Control Officer (ICO) during emergencies and uphold business continuity plans for the site.
  • Manage and advocate for Health, Safety, and Environmental standards, including Risk Management, while regularly assessing safety performance and identifying improvement areas.
  • Generate monthly Management Information (MI) reports from the Agility system, ensuring all auditing requirements are met.
  • Facilitate the sharing of Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) when occupiers operate in areas under the control of the service provider.
  • Compile weekly updates on the progress of occupiers moving into the facility and address any arising issues.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Proven experience in delivering services in accordance with SFG20 standards.
  • Possess a high level of technical expertise and knowledge to guarantee ongoing compliance.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing and executing small works projects is essential.
  • A Technical qualification such as HND or HNC is required.
