Role Overview: We are in search of a proactive individual to oversee the management of our facilities contracts and services, ensuring performance, business continuity, engagement, and health & safety standards are upheld.

In collaboration with the Customer Estates and Facilities Manager, you will guarantee that the operational estate receives safe, secure, and sustainable support, fostering an excellent working environment. You will also ensure that the workplace is efficient, effective, and aligned with business needs.

Responsibilities include: Managing the daily operational delivery of facility services, estate maintenance, compliance, and property change projects. You will be part of a team committed to enhancing the perception of facility services and driving customer satisfaction. Taking direct responsibility for managing stakeholders and suppliers, ensuring continuous improvement in safety, quality, timeliness, and cost. Acting as the trusted advisor for all matters related to our estates and facilities at each property, while championing change and innovative practices across your sites. Serving as the primary liaison between building occupants and suppliers. Ensuring suppliers meet high standards in safety and service delivery, fulfilling all contractual obligations and maintaining a positive perception among stakeholders. With a strong emphasis on customer service, you will possess excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills, along with experience in managing stakeholders to foster collaborative relationships with suppliers. We seek an enthusiastic individual who can bring energy to the role and thrive in a fast-paced, reactive environment. Experience in managing the delivery of both hard and soft facilities services is essential. Demonstrable knowledge of building compliance requirements within a corporate real estate context is required, along with experience in managing corporate facilities and ensuring compliance. A Certificate in IOSH or NEBOSH would be advantageous, as well as IWFM Level 4 qualification or equivalent and ONC/HNC or equivalent qualification in Electrical, Mechanical, or Building Services discipline. This operational role is site-based and will involve travel to various locations; therefore, a full UK driving license is essential.

Candidate Profile

Ideal candidates will possess: Relevant experience in a Facilities Management role. Membership in IWFM. Progress towards IWFM Level 4 qualification. Comprehensive understanding of statutory compliance and health & safety in the built environment. Experience in a similar role or transferable skills. A patient, resilient, and customer-focused demeanor, with the ability to adapt and prioritize for successful outcomes. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships across all organizational levels. A meticulous and organized approach with a keen attention to detail. A drive for continuous improvement. An enthusiastic and conscientious attitude, with a team-oriented mindset. Proficiency in IT, including knowledge of Microsoft Office and the ability to learn specialized computer systems. Experience working across multiple locations and facilities in a corporate environment. Ability to manage and report on operational P&L. Experience managing minor project works.
