Location: Flexible (UK)

Position Overview

The Product Marketing Manager is crucial in bringing our products and services to the marketplace. This role is responsible for designing and implementing marketing strategies to promote our offerings, articulate our solutions, and shape our brand presence. The focus will be on specific product categories and industry segments, working closely with product management and sales teams to create compelling brand narratives. As our product range evolves swiftly, orchestrating effective product launches for ongoing commercial achievement is a significant responsibility of this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with product managers to coordinate and develop external communications for new industry offerings, highlighting key selling points and customer advantages.
  • Design, implement, and oversee product marketing initiatives, including launches, events, thought leadership, and public relations efforts.
  • Establish and maintain a comprehensive campaign calendar and related activities, ensuring alignment with sales and product teams.
  • Manage the production of sales materials and collateral, prioritizing tasks with sales/product teams and overseeing content marketing deliverables.
  • Engage with internal and external teams to guarantee successful participation in campaigns.
  • Drive thought leadership projects to position OpSec within product markets and align with current industry trends.

Required Skills and Experience

  • A minimum of 5 years in brand or product marketing with a solid foundation in core marketing principles.
  • Experience in B2B environments, particularly within brand services.
  • Strong project management, budgeting, and stakeholder communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across various functions with excellent organizational skills.
  • Strategic mindset with the capability to develop clear propositions and messaging.
  • Familiarity with events, digital marketing, and collateral creation.
  • Experience working with both internal creative teams and external agencies.

Qualifications

  • A degree in marketing, business, or equivalent qualifications.
  • Preference for candidates with experience in Pragmatic Marketing frameworks.
  • Relevant certifications in project management or marketing communications are advantageous.
