About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Mental Health Transport Assistant to join our team at Secure Care UK - Bases. As a key member of our transport team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and respectful transportation of patients to various healthcare settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transport patients to and from healthcare settings, adhering to strict safety protocols and guidelines.
  • Provide exceptional patient care, demonstrating empathy and understanding in high-pressure situations.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient transfers and minimize disruptions.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge in patient care and transport.
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive team environment, promoting a culture of respect and open communication.
Requirements
  • Valid Full UK Manual Driving License with a minimum of 12 months driving experience.
  • Enhanced DBS certificate (preferred).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team, demonstrating resilience and adaptability.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
