About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Practitioner to join our 24/7 Mental Health First Response service. As a key member of our team, you will provide effective mental health support to individuals experiencing a mental health crisis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide triage and risk assessments, and brief psychosocial interventions to individuals in crisis.
  • Work via telephone and video calls to provide emotional support and guidance on self-management of emotional distress.
  • Recognize when an individual requires more support and make arrangements for further assistance.

Person Specification

  • RMN/RNLD/Social Worker/Occupational Therapist with current registration.
  • Or: Educated to degree level in mental health/social care or another relevant subject or equivalent experience within the mental health field.
