About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Service Manager to join our team at CrossReach. As a Service Manager, you will be responsible for managing our residential and respite care services, ensuring high-quality standards and contributing to the strategic direction of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee staff management, budget control, and develop new services based on local needs.
  • Effective liaison with internal and external partners and deputising for the Head of Service as needed.
  • Ensure the application of best practices, adherence to policies, and effective management of staff development, incidents, and complaints.
  • Oversee quality improvement initiatives, participate in strategic planning, and prepare annual reports.
Requirements
  • SVQ Level 4 in Social Care or an equivalent qualification.
  • Management Qualification or actively working towards one.
  • Previous experience in Care Home Management or working with individuals living with Dementia.
  • Strong Christian faith and ability to uphold our Christian ethos.
  • Basic computer literacy, membership of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme, and SSSC registration.
