We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Care Service Manager to join our team at Balmoral Health and Social Care. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the operational management of our domiciliary care services, ensuring high-quality care is delivered to our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and develop high-quality domiciliary care services for vulnerable adults and older people.
- Directly manage business/branch managers running local services in a defined geographical area.
- Ensure high-quality and appropriate service delivery in accordance with company policies, priorities, and agreed practices.
- Develop and maintain review and planning mechanisms for service users.
- Ensure effective involvement of service users, carers, and family members in service development.
- Build and develop business relationships with core customers, including social services departments and health and social care organizations.
- Contribute to auditing of branch procedures to promote a quality service.
- Participate in recruitment, deployment, and development of staff.
- Manage and enhance the performance of teams and individuals.
- Carry out responsibilities under the company's complaints procedure.
- Provide regular management information to support branch operations and service planning.
- Maintain and develop administrative/monitoring systems.
- Oversee risk assessments and ensure accurate processing of service user information.
- Ensure schedules and care plans are defaulted on the company's care management system.
- Be an exemplar senior manager in respect of dignity in care and adult support and protection.
- Provide cover for the Care Services Director in their absence.
- SVQ Level 4 in Health and Social Care/Leadership and Management Award.
- Substantial experience of working at a senior operational level within an adult domiciliary care service setting.
- Commercial experience of contract negotiations and discussions with public sector bodies.
- Track record of growing a domiciliary care business.
- Proven ability to interpret financial data and manage financial performance.
- Experience and good track record of business relationship management with public sector bodies.
- PVG Membership.
- SSSC registration (must be maintained).
- Evidence of ETW in the UK.
We offer a competitive salary of £45,000 per annum and a range of benefits, including a driving license and own car (preferred). This is a full-time, permanent position with opportunities for professional development and growth.
