Job Summary

CrossReach is seeking a dedicated and experienced Service Manager to oversee the management of our residential and respite care services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring high-quality standards, contributing to the strategic direction of CrossReach, and developing new services based on local needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage staff and resources to deliver exceptional care and support to older adults with dementia
  • Oversee budget control and financial management
  • Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives
  • Participate in strategic planning and prepare annual reports
  • Ensure compliance with policies and procedures, and manage incidents and complaints
  • Liaise with internal and external partners, and deputise for the Head of Service as needed

Requirements

  • SVQ Level 4 in Social Care or equivalent qualification
  • Management qualification or actively working towards one
  • Previous experience in Care Home Management or working with individuals living with Dementia
  • Strong Christian faith and ability to uphold CrossReach's Christian ethos
  • Basic computer literacy, membership of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme, and SSSC registration
