This role involves close collaboration with the Contact Centre Senior, focusing on outpatient scheduling operations. Your responsibilities will include the precise and timely gathering of demographic and financial information necessary for outpatient visits, ensuring outstanding customer service in a dynamic healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all scheduling needs to deliver a highly efficient, patient-centered outpatient booking service.
- Proactively engage with patients to ensure all outstanding registration data is collected and scheduling is completed within established timelines.
- Accurately gather demographic and financial information.
- Coordinate with insurance providers and other payers to secure necessary authorizations.
- Provide cost estimates to self-pay patients and collect payments as required.
- Encourage patients to enroll in the CCL MyChart App for managing their financial and demographic details.
- Assign incomplete bookings to the pre-registration work queue for resolution.
- Collaborate with clinical departments to maintain correct scheduling workflows.
- Communicate effectively with relevant clinical departments to ensure a seamless patient experience.
- Participate in cross-training across all areas of Patient Access as needed.
- Adhere to hospital and departmental policies, focusing on attendance, confidentiality, dress code, and ID badge display.
- Complete mandatory training to uphold organizational and departmental competencies.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Experience in a healthcare setting or contact center is preferred.
- Familiarity with patient booking systems in a hospital environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Word.
- Exceptional customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt to new challenges and support team objectives.
- Capability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
