Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Head of Commercial Finance Leader to join our team at JSS Search. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing financial insights, guidance, and expertise to support the growth and success of our business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Partnering:
    • Provide financial insights, challenge, and guide on strategic decision-making.
    • Act as a trusted advisor to the C-suite, offering expertise on financial matters and contributing to the overall business strategy.
    • Partner with Divisional senior leadership to develop and drive alignment between financial goals and operational objectives.
  • FP&A, Data, and Commercial Analysis:
    • Work with the relevant team to oversee the development of financial plans, budgets, and forecasts for the International business units.
    • Partner with the Director of FP&A and Strategy lead to align on needs for analytics and reporting to support decision-making, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and scenario modelling.
    • Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data and reports, adhering to regulatory requirements, control, compliance, and accounting standards.
    • Shape and deliver actionable insight to support decision-making.
    • Work cross-functionally to develop business cases, growth plans, and other proposals, operating both in the detail and strategically.
  • Leadership:
    • Shape and lead finance teams to effectively support various business functions across the SLT.
    • Provide strong leadership and mentorship to finance team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
    • Set clear goals and expectations for team members and provide regular feedback to support their professional development.
  • Stakeholder Engagement and Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain successful relationships with key stakeholders across the organisation, including department heads, divisional leaders, and external partners.
    • Communicate financial performance, trends, and strategic initiatives to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
    • Collaborate cross-functionally to drive alignment and achieve common goals across the business.

Requirements:

  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent qualification with significant PQE.
  • Proven leadership track record within a large multinational fast-paced environment.
  • International Markets experience is highly desirable and preferable.
  • Led, coached, and developed high-performing teams and created a best-in-class culture.
